Too Many Lies – Written Monday 28th November 2005 (Aged 30)

Too Many Lies

i have had too many lies in my life
and yours,
are just too much
like the blade of the sharpest knife
i recoil from its touch
i have had too many stories in my life
your pretend thesis,
just doesn’t feel right
i’ve heard so much nonsense in my life
i have seen all the fakers
the givers,
and the takers
your nonsense,
just reminds me of a dim and distant past
i’ve had too much dishonesty in my life
and you’re such a dishonest person,
it’s not right
it’s just another unwanted lesson
and i’ve had too many of those in my life
