Amazing – Written Wednesday 30th November 2005 (Aged 30)

Amazing

i find it amazing
that my friendships are questioned
yet this week,
the very friend
who took my soul when i was nineteen
made me laugh all over again
there we were,
on the end of my telephone
telling each other stories
that made us laugh
i thought about obstacles in life
and how they all played their part
i find it amazing,
that someone can deride
through simple bitterness and pettiness
however, i am still warm inside
