Turn On That Landing Light
trying to fight,
hanging onto childhood
turn on that landing light
try to purchase a feeling
a better house,
i have to be believing
trying to fight,
turn the screws,
till they become tight
turn on that landing light
hanging onto parents
reaching out,
from some kind of highchair
you bawl and shout
because they are not there
trying to fight
hanging onto coat tails
turn on that landing light
the runway is my way
this is my flight
trying to fight,
turn on that landing light
