Landscapes – Written Monday 16th July 2001 (Aged 26)

Landscapes

you know that i am not that clever
and not that wise,
actually, i am quite scared inside
and i have never played the game that well
instead of stealth,
i have often decided to yell
and instead of wealth,
i’ve only got the best stories to tell
but i am not breaking the rules
or changing the world
i am just being me,
but as a human being i do know one thing
i do know one thing that is true
that there will be,
and always be, only you
only you,
because you are unique
and you have everything of me
suddenly my landscapes which looked so unevolved
look less bleak
