The Happiest Age
i do,
yes, i know i do,
so i soften up
in this, my happiest age
but where did biting get me?
remember,
how i used to fret
as i chew my fingernails
how can i forget
i do,
yes, i know i do
call it middle,
call it late,
i am living through my twenties
collecting new
and exciting memories
in this,
my happiest age
i do,
yes, i know i do
i know this true
and that i would do anything for you
i am pulling down barriers
just to let you in
no excuses,
and no get out clauses,
