A Solution To The Rain – Written Sunday 10th June 2001 (Aged 26)

A Solution To The Rain

catch me with that look
and things will never be the same again
the stain glass pane,
needs a refreshing frame
the joke sits in the corner all alone
catch me with that look
and the joke will find the microphone
do not worry,
i will read the precious book down your telephone
catch me with that look
and things will never be the same again
the fruit picker and their basket
are leaving on the train
and the future has left,
because it lives down memory lane
catch me with that look
and things will never be the same again
the scared huddle under shelters
and look for a solution to the rain
