Opposite To Blue

you like him but i like you
with ease you find his smile
i am stuck with nothing to do
i stand by old buildings
waiting for something new
you like comfort,
especially with the rain
you never make the excuse
we all need a little fame
i stand by old buildings
waiting for them to talk
but despite their years –
they remain silent
and past them people walk
you like him but i like you
you don’t like me in that way
the way that’s opposite to blue
one to make me happy
yet i still find your smile so true
