Ready To Set Sail
no wallpaper, no colour charts
just the natural beauty
of lives with a natural heart
i like those, two in the morning –
heart to hearts
when we should be dreaming
no decorations, no wood effect
real life situations
of feeling and stress
the hands are okay
but words have a deeper caress
if i wanted any more
i would be settling for much less
with you it is everything
i find everything in that caress
no nursery colours,
no teddy bear picnics
no fairytales,
just me and you in our handcart
ready to set sail
