getting to know you
that is all i want to do
talk a while
catch a glimpse
or that all too rare smile
getting to know you
i would love to stay and talk
i want to know all about you
waiting around is so tiresome
i never even noticed you there
getting to know you
in our days of boredom
the only way to grow
in this rusty kingdom
come along for the knowledge
getting to know you
i really hope so
