Attraction – Written Saturday 6th January 2001 (Aged 25)

Attraction

i could not help but be attracted
i could not help but be distracted
distracted from the normal reality
that plays like a simple record –
over and over in my mind
talk was easy
comfort was found
and i found space –
away from the voluptuous crowds
the record played on
but its dull monotone service –
disappeared out of view
i could not help but be distracted
i could not help by be attracted
