Riding This Steed
i have been thinking about you…
i just wish you would believe
riding this steed
as i do,
across life
sometimes it is so hard to believe
and the nights,
sometimes the warmth just leaves
i know i have the dice
and the alcohol on the table –
well it should not entice
i have been thinking about you…
i wish i knew what to say
how to straighten all this out
riding this steed
i do wonder what life is all about
and i know,
it can be so hard to believe
drowning as we often do,
in the deep sea of wants and needs
i have been thinking about you…
i just wish you would believe
riding this steed
as i do,
