Right For Wrong
Holding the time,
travelling back in time,
remembering
how things used to be—
hating you,
hating me.
Getting older,
changing;
feeling people,
falling for people—
people you never
used to like.
Now you are changing,
and the views
you once had
no longer seem
to be right.
I remember
being younger,
the time I called out
at night.
Then I wriggled free.
It hurt,
but my eyes were open,
and I started
to see.
Now you have come along,
and thankfully,
I have worked out
right from wrong.
