Generation Gaps
the generation gaps
i can feel it
when i listen
i can hear it
and when i see groups
i can see it
they are embarrassing
they whinge,
they ache to fit it
they sell out at fifteen
they have been sold off
media junkies,
oblivious to it all
the generation gaps
it is real,
they look strange
they laugh in ill conceived groups
they look to be in pain
it is not my generation
it is a whole different situation
it is always different
when looking back
i detest their occasional ignorance
the generation gaps
